Silver and black brocade evening suit

Another summer ball and... yes you guessed it, another evening outfit. This time I went with the silver metal and black silk brocade that I had left over from my 1700 mantua that Ninya Mikhaila made me. It is a Burda pattern that my mum had back home in Germany, and it's a waistcoat and a long jacket. The best is that I can wear both for other occasions as well. I made the same ankle length skirt with it that I always make - the Guy Laroche Vogue pattern one, it just has the most elegant lines. The skirt is made from John Lewis's own Duchesse satin.
