St George's Day - Damsel in Distress

St George's Day in April 2004 saw a bunch of folks who lived in the same street, dress up as St George, Dragon, Damsel in Distress, Monty Pythonesque Peasant and Archer. We all congregated in the pub at the corner and a good time was had by all.

The Princess tiara was one I made back in 1994/95 for the Evil Queen costume and the corset is a Victorian one that I sadly far too big these days, because it was made for me before I lost weight. It's lovely anyway.

The cloak is in fact a kiddies' bedspread from Ikea and the skirt was made from a cheap sari from a second hand stall on a market.

The underdress is a Victorian shift and the hair is once again sadly not my own.
